Key Responsibilities • Responsible for credit management, including financial analysis so as to perform customer credit check. Establish and maintain appropriate credit lines for new and existing customers in accordance with company's credit policy. • Ensure minimal bad debts and write off on doubtful accounts and maximizing cash flows liquidity. • Input and maintenance of credit data in the system of records (Ohms) • Monitor and report credit/large exposures • Authorise the release of customer's purchases of securities and payments ensuring strict adherence to deadlines, credit policies and procedures. • Contribute to the review, upgrade and development of credit policies, procedures and guidelines. • Proactively contact customers for prompt collection and timely resolution of aged receivables. • To own the day to day AR and Credit Review operational workflow. • To establish and maintain effective working relationships with all Business Owners and important stakeholders. • Timely resolve customer receivable issues, inquiries, disputes, and/or claims. • To ensure that operational workflow requirements are produced to standard in a timely manner. • Develop/enhance internal controls, policies, processes and procedures and ensure that they are properly scoped and enforced and are effective and efficient. • Support and monitor financing activities like LC, Bonds, Banker's guarantee, Bank Acceptance Drafts, & Credit Insurance. Required Knowledge & Experience • University level of finance / accounting • Track record of visiting customers to carry out a credit review and assessment to submit a report after customer's visit to plant or offices to determine health of company. • Experience of successfully engaging management and groups of technical and non-technical stakeholders in the area of credit collection. • Minimum 5 years' relevant hands-on experience in financial function in MNCs, including over 3 years' financial management experience on credit control and/or collection. • Excellent communication skills in English with a capacity to present, discuss and explain issues coherently and logically both in writing and verbally. To operate across several functions and business area. (within a commercial environment) • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team in an international environment; ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks. • Highly motivated and willing to assume additional assignments. • Customer oriented and have a strategic mindset • Willingness and ability to travel within the region in China. • Computer literate, able to quickly and efficiently use a wide range of common Office software including Word, Excel, Project and Power Point).
