Finance Director

Key Responsibilities • Work closely with functional managers in conducting detailed financial and business analyses to identify potential problems, determine root causes and recommend appropriate solutions • Directs activities associated with the security and investment of the organization's assets and funds, and ensures that financial transactions, policies and procedures meet the organization's short and long-term objective. • Develop and maintain forecasting processes that accurately predict future performance and motivate actions to insure it hits agreed upon target. • Lead financial portion of the strategic planning process, ensure that results from initiative are properly scoped, presented, tracked and reported • Submission of accurate financial statements that are compliance with China GAAP and International accounting standards • Proactively strengthen processes and approval levels to eliminate breaches of internal controls and insure our clients' compliance standards of conduct. • Drive continuous improvement within the Finance Organization • Responsible for securing group accounting practices and policies and efficient internal controls are defined, updated and implemented; • Monthly closing of the accounts including inter-company reconciliations, depreciations, fixed assets, bank, stocks/production, etc.; • Prepare budget, estimate and monthly reporting according to group instructions, and secure timely reporting; • Handling of year-end audit and closing including preparing draft financial statements in close cooperation with Group Finance; • Securing compliance on tax, VAT and duties including transfer pricing in the group; • Participate in group improvement projects; • Review of sales contracts to secure that terms are compliant with group instructions; • Responsible for insurance matters in cooperation with group CFO; Qualification & Experiences • Bachelor Degree (Economy, Finance, Accounting), MBA and/or CPA are preferred • Substantial operational experience in increasingly responsible financial leadership positions leading to the Finance Director position in a global manufacturing enterprise • Solid experience with Chinese GAAP and International accounting standards (IFRS); • Proven leadership skills/experience • Practical experience with ERP software (SAP); • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin; • Experience with Chinese tax, VAT and duties matters; • Experience in working cross-cultural environment, preferably in foreign companies in China; • Detail-oriented, with high quality standards and work ethics; • Accountability, Integrity with a good balance between Strategic and Tactical
