Controllership Accountant

Description

As the Controllership Accountant, you'll be responsible for the following:

• Ownership of accounting process and reconciliation preparation for rebates, provisions, hedging, tax, foreign exchange and other key judgemental areas including ensuring compliance with relevant accounting policies and driving continual improvement in processes

• Business partnering with other finance teams on areas of accounting ownership

• Review of low risk balance sheet reconciliations prepared in other finance teams to challenge around balance sheet and accounting policy compliance

• Management and administration of balance sheet monthly process across finance

• Preparation of annual balance sheet plan

• Monthly forecasting of key balance sheet items, capex and depreciation

• Support with review and governance of capex projects and process

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial information to parent company

• Preparation of statutory accounts under FRS 101

• Key support colleague for Internal and external audits

• Review of level 0 controllership compliance testing (SOX, FCPA)

• Review and maintenance of process flows and documentation

• Communication and driving action with compliance process owners as required

• Preparation of technical accounting papers as required, with support from GFC
