Client Details
International technology sector client at the forefront of innovation, and a company passionate about internal succession planning. Reporting into the Finance Director, you will be responsible for creating, embedding and maintaining the organisation's internal controls across the group including training on internal controls specifically with regard to compliance. Playing a critical role for the Finance department in terms of delivering on the group's well-structured internal controls module, as well as taking responsibility on the financial accounting.
Description
You will:
- Be responsible for deploying internal control referentials.
- Lead and ensure completion of yearly internal control campaign consistently with the group's control schedule (narratives & testing).
- Lead and ensure completion of action plans issued from the previous campaign.
- Be responsible for leading internal/external control compliance.
Profile
Specifically, the below is required:
- You will be a qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA).
- You will have experience of standard costings and routings, and preferably be from a manufacturing background.
- You will have knowledge of SOX, understand physical material flow and test documentation.
- You will have experience of using SAP.
- You will have experience of testing internal controls.
