Assistant Management Accountant

A growing FMCG business based in the heart of Borehamwood are seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join them on a permanent basis. Great role with progression and exposure, role will involve Balance Sheets Recs, P&L, Business Partnering and much more.

Paying a competitive salary of up to £38,000 you will ideally have a background in a similar role and have the confidence to partner with stakeholders and run a set of Management Accounts.

Client Details

My client are a dynamic company who are currently going through a period of exciting growth and are partnering with major retailers. They are a great organisation to work for and are looking for an ambitious and forward thinking Assistant Management Accountant who is Part Qualified. You will need to be able to partner with stake holders and different team Managers, with the ability to prepare Management Accounts and post all store related financial journals including accruals and prepayments.

• Reporting into a hands on Financial Controller
• Preparation of budgets and forecasts
• P&L, Management Accounting
• Business Partnering with stakeholders, arranging meetings to deliver accurate forecasts
• Accruals and Prepayments
• Ad hoc reporting
• Consumer and trade show evaluations
• Weekly exec summary with Managing Director and Head of Finance

Profile

• Ideally an ACCA or CIMA studier
• A background with Management Accounts/Business Partnering
• Strong analytical skills
• A background in retail is highly advantageous but not essential
• Hard working and confident person who is able to work with people on all levels
• Ambitious nature
