A. Financial Reporting: 1. Responsible for end to end accounting close activities, document retentions, and financial audit and report preparation. 2. Lead review process of periodic financial reports, monthly/quarterly closing schedule and financial statements in a timely and accurate manner. 3. Ensure compliance with standard reporting procedures and due dates 4. Coordinate monthly / quarterly reporting & disclosure requirements 5. Ensure compliance with local requirements as well as global policies 6. Support updates to accounting, reporting & control processes based on business, accounting or tax changes 7. Provide support to CFO and senior management teams as needed to address issues that impact accounting and financial reporting 8. Lead external auditing process by fully cooperation with audit firm for quarterly and annual auditing for international and China Statutory report. B .Internal Controls and Compliance 1. Ensure compliance with Global policies and document procedures to address any specifics related to local regulations or the business requirement in the country where appropriate 2. Ensure that the control environment is maintained and/or enhanced as the business needs and process change 4. Lead/coordinate the implementation of controls as required by changes in business processes and audit reviews or SOX 5. Review business performance measurements and policy implementation with focus on the key exposure of Accounts Receivable, Inventories, Accounts Payable, DME spending and accruals, and Revenue, Returns and Discounts 6. Coordinate any in country audit requirements (internal and external audit) C.Team Building and Coaching 1. Organize trainings to accounting team according to its current capability and implement any new or improved processes 2. Streamline current process and identify improvement opportunities 3. Improve employee satisfaction rate by balancing/reducing workload and providing effective coaching Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully perform major duties/responsibilities: • Knowledge of SAP • Knowledge of SOX 404 compliance • Proficient in international and China GAAP reporting and management reporting needs • Good understanding of general accounting, financial reporting processes, and internal control principles • Ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure and produce accurate results • Ability to interact and communicate well with employees in foreign and Corporate offices • Personal computer skills (Excel, Word, PPT, etc.) • Proficient in oral and written communication skills in both Chinese and English, including ability to translate Competencies: • With team-work, can-do attitude, ability to meet tight deadlines, work under pressure and produce accurate results • Excellent analytical and financial skills; Strong problem solving, sales & marketing execution and presentation ability, capable to think and act in
