For our client, leading FMCG company we are looking for candidates on the position of Commercial Finance Business Partner. As a Commercial Finance Partner, you'll be an integral working member of the Resource Allocation team, responsible for contributing towards the achievement of company's Marketing strategies through excellent financial advice and management information. The role requires you to develop a sound control framework to underpin your financial knowledge and commercial awareness across Marketing and Finance functions. • Act as Finance business partner providing input and support to marketing budget holders with budget estimation and cost management however ensuring efficient resource allocation through proper commercial and finance assessment.
• Drive resource allocation and budget processes across marketing functions compliant with internal guidelines and timelines.
• Set-up, lead and ensure Internal Controls are implemented and well monitored across Marketing functions.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing activities (including Brand and TM&D), drive and prepare post implementation review, provide and interpret performance measurement statements and analyses of marketing initiatives.
• Prepare financial reporting, liaison over systems issues: reconciling SAP and SRM systems.
• Represent Finance function during Marketing Operations meeting ensuring finance agenda, objectives and governance are sound and counted in decision making process.
• Perform presentations to Senior Management on Marketing Investment related issues.

• Good understanding of marketing and commercial issues.
• Proven experience of at least 2 years in finance (preferably in FMCG).
• Higher education in Accountancy & Finance area.
• Ability to challenge existing ideas and persuade others.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build effective working relationships.
• Commitment and reliability with a strong sense of responsibility for getting results.
• Excellent time management skills.
• CIMA or ACCA qualifications as a plus.
• Experience in working with Finance integrated packages (SAP would be advantageous).
