About the opportunity
The Portfolio Manager - Project Finance will lead the provision of strategic investment decision support for one or more of the transformation portfolios. This encompasses portfolio cost management, commercial consulting insight and recommendations, cost/benefit analysis, benefit identification and realisation.
A customer and people perspective is essential. Excellent cross-functional stakeholder management skills at a senior level with experience in rapidly building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, is necessary. The role requires a commitment to quality and timely deliverables in a fast-paced complex environment.
Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Accountable for the quality of the commercial content of business case submissions presented to Governance committees
Manage the benefits reporting framework for the portfolio
Manage the portfolio financial pool, with a focus on optimising funding
Provide financial advice, guidance and support for Project/Program managers and key business stakeholders
Be able to manage a significant workload while maintaining a clear sense where things are and what needs to be done
Assisting in driving a step-change in Project Finance quality, governance and reporting across Bupa A&NZ
Criteria for selection:
To be successful in your application you will also possess the following experience:
Experience in a senior capacity in a commercial or project finance role
Demonstrated ability to build relationship and influence stakeholders
Strong communication skills, both verbal and in presentations
Proactively takes ownership and acts with integrity to deliver required results
Leadership capability which can influence team culture and change within the organisation
Advanced EXCEL skills, including use of complex formulae and macros
Financial modelling
Demonstrated commercial acumen
A passion for delivering commercial insights and understanding
