Business Development Support Volunteer - Carlton

The program

Australian Red Cross International Programs works across the development and humanitarian spheres, and the team spans operational support, programs, response and strategy.

The opportunity

International Programs (IP) is recruiting a volunteer to support its business development and income diversification activities. Working within programs and with a focus on Asia, the volunteer will work with country specific, engagement and support and strategy. The role supports the Asia team to analyse what sources of funding are available to them, by producing a mapping of significant business development opportunities by theme, amount and geographical location.This would be an excellent opportunity for someone with a good understanding of the international aid and development sector, strong business development and analyst skills, and good communication and presentation skills.

The impact

By undertaking this role you would be supporting the Asia programming team to significantly expand their programming in their chosen thematic areas. By increasing program funds, scope and demonstrating new opportunities, you will be increasing the number of people that can be reached in international programming. By working within the office, you will also have a great opportunity to experience working within international aid and development, alongside development professionals and specialists.
