One of the UK's exciting co-working property businesses is looking to recruit a Property Finance Director. The Finance Director will be responsible for the day to day running of the finance and investment elements of the business. This is a truly pivotal role and the impact you have will be fundamental to the development and growth of the business.

You must be a fully qualified accountant with strong communication and the necessary gravitas to be successful in this role. It is essential that the new incumbent is comfortable delivering financial management from 'end to end'. Excellent stakeholder management experience is essential to being successful in this role. This is a genuine opportunity for an individual to broaden their experience at an exciting time in the company's growth.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the Board's Finance and Accounting strategy, to optimise the company's financial performance and strategic position.

• Take overall control of the company's accounting function

• Contribute fully to the development of company strategy across all areas of the business, challenging assumptions and decision-making as appropriate and providing financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets and business drivers

• As part of the Leadership team grow the business, formulating strategies and plans.

• Ensure corporate budgeting processes are carried out and reviewed and responsibility for cash planning.

• Corporate finance: manage company requirements/policies regarding capital requirements, debt, equity, disposals and acquisitions, as appropriate.

• Establish a high level of credibility and manage strong working relationships with investors and advisors.

The Successful Applicant

• Qualified accountant (+5 years PQE) with at least 10 years of professional experience in financial roles

• Commercially astute, articulate and technically strong

• Dynamic, insightful and influential with the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels.

• Gravitas

• Proactive approach

• Property experience is desirable.
