About Us
The Monash Health Pathology Service operates under the brand name of Monash Pathology and is an integral part of Monash Health. It is one of the largest providers of Pathology services in the state and currently operates 4 laboratories. The largest of these is located at the Monash Medical Centre, Clayton, with additional facilities being located at the Dandenong, Moorabbin and Casey Hospitals. There are currently 12 collection centres based within the hospital sites and community settings. Services are provided to the Public and Private sectors, and other laboratory services.
About the Role
We are currently seeking a Medical Scientist Grade 1 within the Haematology Unit at the Clayton site The laboratory offers a 24 hour service and the successful applicant will be required to participate in shift and on call work. This is a Part Time Parental Leave Replacement position.
What you need to know
The successful applicant will have a Degree in Applied Science (MLS) or recognised equivalent with possession of appropriate Routine Haematology, Morphology, Coagulation and Blood Bank laboratory experience being essential.
