About the opportunity

Our Bupa Service Desk Team are seeking a Service Desk Consultant to act as the first point of call for business and IT service incidents and requests, including ongoing monitoring of systems and escalations.

This is exceptional 6 month fixed-term opportunity will ideally suit a junior (1-2 years) with a broad technology base who is eager to take the next step in their career.

As a dedicated, customer focused Service Desk Consultant, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient recording, logging and allocation of customer reported incidents and request, and where possible provide first call resolution of IT issues logged via ServiceNow in adherence to national IT operational processes

To be successful for the role:

• Exceptional can-do-attitude! Must be willing to have a hot go and ask questions.
• Ideally 1-2 years' experience within a 1st level help desk role
• Proven exposure to a broad IT landscape (ServiceNow, Active Directory, Outlook, Exchange, Windows)
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Great customer service skills with a genuine interest in helping your peers (immediate team and broader Bupa family)
