About the role Coordination of all dispatch activities at our Ipswich precast factory. You will be the frontline interface between the customer and Humes and are responsible for a high standard of customer service. Fully compliant with all safety procedures, ensuring drivers have accurate paperwork, correct equipment, correct loading and sizing, fatigue management Planning loading and deliveries to ensure optimum use of space and capacity Producing detailed delivery schedules, picking slips for each load Coordinate between loading yard and production teams Tracking loads to ensure prompt and accurate delivery times Maintaining excellent customer service with external clients through phone, email and other forms of communication, ensuring complaints are dealt with properly Accurate and timely financial reporting including credit guidelines followed About you Previous experience in a similar role within heavy manufacturing or logistics Exposure to the building materials or construction sectors is an advantage Well-developed interpersonal skills and be able to build rapport Able to find ways to put together solutions that add value for your customers On offer here is: Generous salary package including 12.5% super.
