Description

The primary function of this team is to perform independent assessments and reviews of the design and operating effectiveness of the internal control environment. The aim is to ensure compliance with company policy and Sarbanes Oxley (S-OX) legislation, through coordination of the business controls team, process owners and management.

As Senior Analyst you'll be responsible for conducting IT S-OX testing and facilitating the resolution of identified issues. In addition to this, you'll support the identification of process improvement opportunities within the area of IT Compliance, focusing on business partnering and you'll also be required to liaise with third party providers to ensure they are delivering as required.

With your team you'll devise and complete the general IT Controls plan, liaising with corporate and external audit, Operations, and Projects. Working alongside large programmes and projects, you'll ensure a standardised approach is taken to access and controls. In Process Improvement you'll look at identifying opportunities and implementing practical solutions, SAP security role design, and managing the FireFighter ID process. You'll also support wider team members with one off projects and reviewing IT controls within on-going projects.

Profile

In this role it is essential for you to have experience as an IT Auditor. You'll also need to have a strong understanding of what good looks like in relation to IT Controls. A business partnering background is imperative, and you'll need to be a self-starter who wants and has the ability to change status quo and devise and implement process improvements. You'll need to have the desire to want to add value outside of your job role, where you'll be investigating and challenging complex processes and environments.

Ideally having a strong work ethic and thriving on new challenges to improve a situation, is a key element of this role.

You'll be a team player, have excellent communications skills, liaising with internal and external stakeholders and a knowledge in SAP and IT S-OX would be advantageous. Based in the Midlands you will be required to do a small amount of travel.
