Management Accountant - FTC

A varied Management Accountant role with significant commercial elements and interaction with the business

Our Client are part of a very well established FTSE 100 business and a major name within their field

Description

Key responsibilities will include:

• Liaison with commercial staff

• Reporting & analysis with a particular focus on efficiency improvements

• Reconciliations of numerous accounts

• Budgeting, planning and forecasting

• Preparation of monthly management accounts

• Supporting the Finance Manager in ensuring that the Finance team is fully resourced and well-directed

• Other ad-hoc tasks as required

Profile

The successful candidate will:

• Be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) - newly/recently qualified candidates will be considered
• Be highly numerate with strong IT, Excel and financial analysis skills
• Have prior experience in a management accounting capacity
• Demonstrate experience of managing budgets/cost control, and planning and organising work to meet targets
• Be self-confident, decisive, resilient and able to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Be an excellent communicator with the ability to partner easily with both Finance and non-Finance staff
• Be available either immediately or within a maximum of 12 weeks
