Description

The Finance Systems Business Analyst will be responsible for bridging the gap between as-is processes and the new system processes. Acting as co-ordinator between the business (mainly Finance), the Project Team and the system provider.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitation and ownership of finance and regulatory reporting workshops / work streams.
• Identify / analysis and document GAPS / Business impacts across multiple operating Platforms/models. Task to include;
  • Understanding current finance operating Model vs Target operating model
  • Making recommendations in line with regulatory constraints and strategic business objectives. Particular emphasis on regulatory reporting
  • Managing comparisons in all finance related / impacted systems
  • Works with the business to identify detailed requirements and capture business needs
• Liaising with stakeholders / parent company / third party suppliers.
• Liaising with test managers/test users;
  • Understanding data migration requirements pre 'go live' adhering to critical milestones in data mapping and associated testing
  • Supporting the domain in testing of data
  • Supporting data cleansing requirements in readiness for testing and migration
• Input into the creating and delivering of a training plan in readiness to rollout of a new processes/model, Considerations around audience / culture / business impact on resource

Profile

Finance Systems Business Analyst Required Experience

• Strong technical business analysis skill set (finance related)
• Experience of finance system migration projects
• Wide range of accounting knowledge/experience within Financial Services
• Regulatory reporting knowledge (understanding and interpretation)
• Project Management methodology awareness
• Wealth / Private Banking background
• Change management and implementation management techniques and approaches
• Good understanding of Global Transformation Business Transformation Frameworks and best practice techniques

Technical Skills

• Microsoft XL
• Microsoft Visio
• Microsoft PowerPoint
• Microsoft Project
• Experience with SAP and/or SUN accounting packages.

Job Offer

£450 - £550 per day
