Page Personnel are currently recruiting on behalf of a brilliant, global organisation based in Liverpool. Reporting into the Finance Manager

This role requires immediate support from an experienced accountant and the role could become permanent.

Client Details

The Financial Accountant will be responsible for month end reporting, balance sheet reconciliations and cash flow reporting as well as overseeing the organisation's accounts payable and receivable functions.

Description

The Financial Accountant will be responsible for:

*Accurate maintenance of the fixed asset register

*Supporting the Management Accountant at month end with accruals, prepayments and cost reports

*Completing monthly VAT returns

*Monthly balance sheet reconciliations

*Monthly reporting in line with management accounts and operational managers

*Assisting with internal/external auditors, when required

*Intercompany bank reconciliations

*Overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable and credit control, when required

Profile

*Experience in a similar Financial Accountant position

*Good understanding of transactional finance, VAT and management accounts

*Experience within a Manufacturing or similar sector would be ideal

*Active studies will be supported or qualified by experience

*Strong IT and Excel accountancy skills Good time management

*Organisation and communication skills
