Management Accountant

Your new job: Working in a finance team in Galway with a dotted line to the site-based Finance Director, your direct manager will be based in America and you will sit on the Global Finance Team.  You duties will include: Provide Financial Analysis and decision support on all manufacturing plants globally Support the quarterly/annual forecast processes including planning for headcount, cost savings, CAPEX investments by business segmentation Perform weekly/monthly reporting; including production of financial/operational performance metrics and comparison vs. forecast/plan Performs month end closing activities, including conducting P&L variance analysis for General Ledger Accounts Maintains product costs and performs quarterly cost updates Actively participate in the analysis around their product profitability, supply chain sourcing, manufacturing capacity and cost savings/working capital initiatives Partners with supply chain on day to day activities and key strategic initiatives, including cost benefit analysis, compiling final recommendations and presenting to management Develop financial estimates on new and proposed products or services as well as recommending cost efficiencies relative to a new product layout Partners with the operational team and drives improvements and efficiencies around cost analysis and “lean” manufacturing processes Prepare financial presentations for operational reviews and other meetings as required Ensure global standardization and compliance with IFRS/GAAP and Corporate accounting rules, policies, and procedures Is this job for you?
