A specialist real estate investment manager with a Pan-European investment strategy is looking to hire an experienced Real Estate Fund Controller. The company has been on a growth trajectory over the past decade, and will continue to grow with the introduction of new PE vehicles which will focus on higher yield RE investments. With a strong physical presence in Europe, the firm is now close to 300 headcount across London, Scandinavia, Central and Eastern Europe.
The firm currently manages industrial, retail and office properties, with a value of close to £5bln. The planned growth and investment focus on high yield real estate have resulted in the need for an experiences Real Estate Fund Controller to join the Pan European Fund Accounting Team.
The role responsibilities include:
*Taking an active part in the initial setup of any new funds and liaising with stakeholders
*Supporting the European investment team in deal transactions from a middle and back office perspective
*Liaising with fund board members to coordinate the approval of transactions and other regulatory requirements
*Overseeing and supporting the Fund Accounting process at quarter ends to ensure funds are correctly valued and allocated, as well as budgeting and forecasting
*Oversight of the production of periodic reporting deliverables including fund performance metrics and variance analysis
*Supporting the client and investment teams in fund raising by providing financial data
*Assisting in projects required to maintain and develop the business infrastructure and processes
As a Real Estate Fund Controller, you will be:
*ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or international equivalent.
*1+ year(s) minimum PQE working as a Fund Accountant in an Investment Manager
*Experienced or passionate about the Real Estate Industry
*An accomplished fund accountant looking for a "step up" into a more commercial and oversight focused role
