Our client is a leading provider of Financial Services based in the heart of the Nottingham city centre. They are looking for an experienced Credit Controller to work in their Accounts Department as part of a busy and efficient Finance team.

Duties Include

* Liaising with clients promptly and efficiently via telephone, letter and email to chase outstanding debt
* Managing the company debtors ledger ensuring payments are received in line with company policy
* Recording all client communication to ensuring follow up action required is scheduled
* Resolving all enquiries and sending copy invoices when required
* Instruct 3rd party collections agencies and solicitors in line with company policy
* Using Excel to create bi–monthly reports regarding aged debtors

Skills/Experience Required

* Previous experience in a Credit Control role or similar essential
* Accounts/Finance experience essential
* Intermediate and confident Excel skills
* Financial Services experience preferable
* Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
