GBP25,951–GBP27,668 (pro–rata)

Following a detailed review of the Council's staffing structure, Skipton Town Council is looking to fill
the above position.

Based at the Council's offices in Skipton Town Hall, and reporting to the Council's Chief Officer,
you would be responsible for the day–to– day management of the Council's finance functions,
including maintenance of the general ledger, income and expenditure, processing payments,
maintaining payroll and VAT accounting and management of the Council's bank accounts.

You would also be responsible for the production of budget and financial management information
for Council meetings and other members of the Management Team.

The Council also provides some financial services to partner organisations.

A flexible working hours scheme is in operation, subject to the needs of the Council. Some evening
attendance at Council meetings may be required.
