Page Personnel Finance are exclusively recruiting a Management Accountant initially for a 15 month fixed term contract, but the role has the potential to become a permanent position. Our client is an extremely friendly business based in south Nottingham (commutable from Nottingham, Grantham and Loughborough).

Client Details

Our client is a well established manufacturing business that has been operating for c. 30 years. It started as a business that supplied its products in the UK, but it now sells its products internationally. The head office in Nottingham has an extremely friendly feel and atmosphere.


As Accounts Assistant / Payroll Clerk you will be working as part of the friendly finance team of c. 5. Duties will be extremely varied, and will include, but will not be limited to:

1. Payroll

  • processing the monthly and weekly payroll from begining to end for c. 100 employees on Sage Payroll
  • processing new starters and leavers
  • recording holidays and leave
  • 2. Credit Control and Sales Ledger

  • chasing outstanding debt
  • preparing monthly statements
  • handling customers' queries
  • setting up new customers' accounts
  • posting sales ledger receipts
  • credit checks
  • 3. General Accounts

  • petty cash payments and reconciliation
  • credit card analysis and reconciliation
  • processing employee expenses
  • Profile

    To apply for this role you:

    • must have some experience of payroll
    • will have excellent communication skills

    • the role initially on a 15 month contract basis, but permanent opportunities may arise
