The Accounts Payable Associate provides a vital support role to both the BCG accounting department and the field. Communicates daily with golf facility accountants, onsite general managers and vendors to ensure all invoices are processed timely and accurately. –Owns the day–to–day AP process for roughly 30 golf facilities –Accurately post 250+ invoices daily into SAGE MAS 500 –Reviews all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment –Respond to all vendor inquiries –Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies –Meet deadlines for month–end closing –Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately –Prepares analysis of accounts as required –1099 maintenance –Assist with other projects as needed Requirements –1 – 3 years accounting or administrative experience –College Degree required; courses in accounting preferred –Proficient with MS Office, including the ability to operate computerized accounting programs –General Math Skills –Excellent data entry skills; 10–key by touch –Must be highly organized and efficient with a high attention to detail –Must be highly motivated, goal driven and self–starter –Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet required deadlines –Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing –Must have experience working in a fast paced environment
