Job Description: Reporting to the Sr Finance Manager, this position works with global finance and accounting team to reconcile inter and intra company transactions for consolidation purpose. This individual is responsible for coordinating with global Western Digital entities to harmonize the inter/intra company related process, giving accounting guidance to local accounting team to ensure accounting policy is proper applied across the globe. The individual will also work closely with internal stakeholders for other system integration and automation projects and support global financial statement consolidation process during month end. Primary Responsibilities: • Coordinate with global Western Digital entities to set up or harmonize intercompany and intracompany related accounting processes; • Deliver trainings and provide accounting guidance to global Western Digital entities on the harmonized process; • Reconcile inter and intra company transactions for consolidation purpose; • Lead or support other GL/intercompany related ERP system implementation or automation projects to improve functional efficiency; • Explore potential areas for process harmonization/improvement and recommend suitable changes to management; • Prepare process documentation trainings between different teams and facilitate meeting and discussions; • Support global financial statement consolidation process during month and quarter end; • Assist internal / external audits relating to GL, intercompany and other SOX requirements. • Assist Sr Finance Manager with ad hoc tasks as assigned. Requirements: • This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration with 3 or more years of relevant experience in big 4 or multinational company. • The ideal individual must have proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment. • An excellent written and verbal coordination and communication skill in English is a must. • Self-motivated and self-directed, however, must have demonstrated ability to work well with people as a team member. • Strong ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex problems, as well to multi-task and meet deadlines. • Superior analytical skills and a high level of attention to details. • Outstanding performer and obtain recognition in current jobs. • Familiar with Oracle or similar ERP system. • A professional certification holder (such as CPA, ACCA, etc.) is a plus.
