Overview of business area or project:
CRO IT is a large IT department, delivering and supporting systems for the Chief Risk Officer, providing risk management systems for Market and Credit Risk Management. CRO IT is spread globally across 5 locations; London, New York, Singapore, India and Zurich.

Key Responsibilities
Facilitate requirement collation in partnership with CRO Change and Strategic Risk Management (SRM) methodology teams based in London, APAC & New York. Conduct detailed walkthroughs for functionality and methodology context to development and test teams based in London, Wroclaw, Singapore and India Work with Quality Assurance team to develop and support their understanding of quantitative methodology testing, enabling numerical validation to be executed offshore Contribute to Market Risk Change best practices and standards strategy, and promote development of scalable organisation structure

Overview of the department / team (team size, backgrounds, personalities ):
Senior business analyst within Market Risk, with significant subject matter expertise in market risk methodology, management and reporting. Responsible for the creation of detailed business requirements and functional specifications which clearly describe the work planned across Market Risk systems. Working closely with MLRM Methodology and CRM AnaIytics teams based in London. Detailed understanding of market risk to work with business teams in order to produce functional specifications for implementation and validation of data.

Essentials Skills and Qualifications:
Significant experience in a similar change or business analysis role within a financial institution or financial consultancy firm. Excellent communication skills. Need to be able to translate requirements between business concepts and technical IT language. Good interpersonal relationship skills required for building partnerships with business partners. Strong written communication skills clear, understandable and unambiguous documentation and emails are a part of the role. Analytical mind set and excellent numerical skills. Organised and able to plan future activities based on prioritisation of time, capacity and urgency. Ability to learn new business situations and technology quickly. Genuine appetite to learn business domain and a drive for a deep understanding. Able to accommodate challenge/ challenging environment, where requirements may evolve throughout analysis and interdependencies from external strategic systems are identified
