Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise a team of internal audit personnel at client engagements and guide them on solution delivery. Independently lead smaller modules of engagement
  • Assist team members in developing technical and professional competency. Coach, train and support consultants in the team
  • Effectively deliver tasks on projects as guided by the management team
  • Manage multiple assignments and related project internal teams
  • Meet quality guidelines within the established turnaround time (or allotted budget) for assigned requests
  • Establish deep relationships with client personnel (at appropriate levels) by understanding client’s perspective
  • Excellent exposure and expertise in the area of IFRS conversion projects
  • Drive and take responsibility to deliver IFRS training
  • Proficient in preparation/development of accounting manuals
  • Assist in consolidation of tool development
  • Application of tax accounting standards for preparation of Tax based financial statements
  • Involve in developing proposals/presentations

Desired Profile:

  • 3+ years of experience in a related field (Financial Reporting Advisory), preferably in professional services and/or industry. Qualified CA, ACCA, CFA, CPA with graduation in commerce.
  • Good understanding and practical knowledge of IGAAP principles and some practical experience of IFRS/US GAAP (the personnel should be able to share some real time examples/instances of dealing with accounting standards)
  • Excellent knowledge of financial instruments
  • Excellent prior experience of IFRS conversions
  • Proven experience in capital markets
  • Excellent interpersonal, project management and client relationship skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation and time management skills. Excellent delivery skills and technical knowledge.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite applications
  • Ability to think laterally, showcase business acumen and well versed in current trends and developments across business and economy
  • Excellent leadership, project management and interpersonal skills. Able to maintain a professional demeanour in times of high stress.
  • A good blend of creative thinking and rigorous analysis in solving business problems
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. Flexibility to travel as necessary to meet client needs.
