What you'll do

  • Assist Section Head to manage resources to ensure transaction requests are processed timely and accurately to meet service level standard
  • Support Section Head in streamline of processes, document user requirements and perform user acceptance testing
  • Provide supervision and guidance to team to comply with internal operations polices/procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Responsible to report transaction statistics for Management reporting
  • Perform verification of customer request of account opening, maintenance and closure to ensure compliance with service level standard
  • Ensure that discrepancies/exceptions, if any, are immediately reported to Section Head and ensure prompt and effective resolution
  • Adhere to documented procedures, control guidelines and compliance framework
  • Handle queries from internal stakeholders and external counterparties
  • Participate in industry business continuity plan exercise
  • Handle adhoc assignments/projects/initiatives as assigned


Qualifications
What you bring

  • Degree in Banking & Finance or equivalent
  • Positive attitude
  • Effective communication skills
  • Eye for details and meticulous
  • Pro-active with the ability to work independently and also a strong team player are essential attributes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Proficient in SGX systems and Futures/FX systems are added advantages
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in securities/brokerage back office experience
  • Knowledge in SGX-ST and MAS regulation rules in equities and derivatives market
