Job description: Glanbia Business Services - Vacancy Indirect Tax Specialist /Compliance Analyst A vacancy has arisen for an Indirect Tax Compliance Analyst at Glanbia Business Services in Dungarvan . This is a fixed term position for 12 months and will report to the VAT Compliance Manager Key elements of the role Preparation and submission of Indirect tax compliance (including VAT, GST and Excise duties) for all Glanbia business units across multiple jurisdictions. Assisting in the provision of Indirect tax and Customs advice to all business units Support the businesses' objectives by ensuring of Indirect tax and Customs compliance obligations already in place are maintained to the highest standard. Liaising with external Advisors in relation to Indirect tax and Customs compliance requirements. Handle queries, provide advice and technical support, including training to internal and external customers with respect to Indirect tax and Customs related issues. Assistance in internal and external audits and liaising with relevant tax Authorities on ad hoc queries. Participating in Group wide projects to ensure our Indirect tax and Custom compliance requirements are maintained as the Group expands into multiple jurisdictions Proactively identify weaknesses in current processes relating to indirect tax and Customs matters and identifying solutions so that issues are resolved in a timely manner Requirements for the role Qualifications AITI tax qualified University degree in business, finance, accounting or similar qualification Skills & experience Experience in International Indirect tax reporting Experience in Customs compliance Proven track record in the provision of high value tax work Excellent technical skills Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical thinking and organisational skills Ability to work independently, to work under pressure and to handle several projects at once SAP experience an advantage Proficiency in PC skills (including Word, Excel) Competencies The energy, enthusiasm and drive to make it happen.
