Page Personnel are currently recruiting a Finance Assistant for a market leading FMCG business based in Malton.

Client Details

The client is a nationwide, PE backed business that are a market leader in the FMCG space. Following further acquisitions they are now looking to bring in a junior finance assistant into the busy finance team at the Head Office based in Malton. This is a great opportunity to join a well regarded business, offering study support and the opportunity to progress.

Description

As a Finance Assistant, you will report into the Finance Manager, your duties will include, however are not limited to: Posting bank receipts and payments into SAP, Collating cheques received for banking, Processing bank payments and transfers, Entering daily bank information onto spreadsheets, Ensuring group bank balances are managed efficiently within the group banking facilities, Reconciliation of bank accounts to SAP, Ad Hoc reporting and Ensuring continuous improvement to processes and controls.

Profile

The successful candidate will:

  • Have worked in an accounts function previously
  • Be looking to pursue finance qualifications
  • Have an understanding of excel

Job Offer

Salary up to £19,000 + study support (AAT/CIMA/ACCA) + 25 days holiday + company pension scheme
