Systems Accountant - Fixed Term Contract

An interim Finance position to play a key role around a recent systems implementation and support other parts of the organisation during a roll-out in 2018.

Description

Responsibilities will revolve around assisting the team with the ongoing implementation and roll-out of an Oracle-based BI system. This position will act as the key link between the system and clients and end-users, with a strong business partnering focus to ensure all involved are trained and familiar with new systems and processes to quickly maximise the benefits. There will be a firm focus on service delivery and using the system for forecasting purposes.

Profile

The successful candidate will:

• Be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent)
• Demonstrate experience in a comparable role, working around the implementation and roll-out of new Finance and BI systems (experience in this capacity with Oracle-based systems will be a significant advantage)
• Have good commercial acumen, communication skills and the ability to readily engage and build relationships with both Finance and non-Finance personnel
• Ideally have experience working within the Public Sector, although this is not essential
• Have proven experience in successfully developing and/or maintaining financial models
• Be highly computer literate with a high standard of spreadsheet skills and be an advanced user of financial information and Business Intelligence systems
• Be available to start within one month

Job Offer

Our Client is offering the opportunity to join their organisation on an interim basis with a prompt start date. The position is being offered on a Fixed Term Contract for six to nine months and there is the potential for the role to go permanent in the future.
