Accountant

An opportunity to join the finance team of Cork-based pharmaceutical manufacturer in a site-focused, broad ranging Accountant role. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be actively involved in all management and financial reporting processes, as well as involvement in upcoming projects. Your role: Monthly management accounting and balance sheet reconciliations Manage the Group Internal Controls Process Manage the risk management process and reporting to the group Review raw materials financials and format for monthly reporting to group Foreign Exchange transaction processing and tracking Maintaining monthly accounts for small subsidiaries in the group Your background: Degree/Master's in finance, business or similar discipline Hold a professional accounting qualification e.g. ACA, ACCA or CIMA with a minimum of 3 years' PQE Will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in an industry finance function, with a good mix of financial and management reporting exposure Strong problem solving and analytical skills, SAP experience desirable, not essential A second language German or French an advantage and not essential Fastnet has a strict confidentiality policy - please be assured that your details will never be forwarded to any third party without your consent.
