Registered Psychologist / Clinical Psychologist

Lifepath Psychology is a friendly and professional private psychology practice operating in Kelmscott.

Due to the growing demand for our services, we have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Registered Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist to join our team on a part time basis commencing in January 2018. There is a possibility of full time work availability as our services continue to grow.

Psychologists at Lifepath Psychology predominately treat individuals referred by local General Practitioners under the Medicare Better Access to Mental Health Care Scheme. We have a well established referral relationships with a number of local GP clinics.

Work is offered on a sub-contract basis. Your role will be fully supported by our administrative team, who are responsible for booking clients, SMS reminders, billings and other duties. Our Practice provides all referrals, you would be responsible for seeing clients and managing your own case load.
We offer support and security of working in an established, peer-supported environment.

Essential Criteria

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• An ability to establish rapport quickly

• Maintain high quality case notes, individual plans and reviews, following Medicare's Better Access to Mental Health scheme reporting requirements.

• Capacity to work effectively autonomously and within a team

• Ability to manage own case load and time requirements

• Passion and high regard for achieving sustainable outcomes, and working with people of all backgrounds

• Registered with the Psychology Board through AHPRA

• Eligible for Medicare provider number

• Sufficient Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance

• Current Police Clearance & Working with Children Check

• Two Professional References
