Our client, a leading investment management firm, currently seeks a FP&A Analyst, to be based in London.
Your responsibilities will be to:
* Primarily responsible for the ongoing analysis and reporting (profit, revenue and cost analysis).
* Provide support to the Distribution & Marketing Business partners.
* Production of financial papers for presentation at Committee meetings including insightful commentary.
* Preparation of well understood distribution channel reporting with appropriate detail.
* Proactively drive for synergies through consistent reporting and work with the business partners to develop the distribution channel reporting at a consolidated level.
* Provide analysis, insight and understanding of the profitability drivers of the P&L.
* Work closely with Central Finance to understand costs and revenues and analyse these against comparatives.
* Support the Executive Manager Team with regular reporting and ad hoc analysis.
* Play an active role in the annual business planning process and also work to embed the rolling forecast in the decision making process.
* Work to develop reporting tools and automation to deliver continuous improvement to outputs.
As such, the successful FP&A Analyst will have the following skills and experience:
- Qualified accountant with a 1-2 years post qualification experience, ideally in Asset Management.
- Experience of a similar FP&A role with excellent financial analysis and reporting skills
- Excellent planning and organisation skills with the ability to work accurately under pressure
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- An ability to identify problems and drive to follow them through to resolution
