The Budapest Office provides essential support across a variety of services including Finance, Technology, Quant Solutions, Risk Management, Bank Resource Management and Internal Audit. We are looking for a Finance Reporting Controller for our Budapest Office Finance Division. The Financial Control Group (FCG) is responsible for overseeing the accounting and financial and regulatory reporting for the Firm. FCG prepares external financial reports for public filings and regulators. For internal reporting FCG, along with Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), summaries, plans and forecasts the organization's financial position, including income statements, balance sheets, and analyses of future revenues, expenses and earnings. FCG is comprised of Business Unit Controllers, Infrastructure Controllers, Accounting, Regulatory and Reporting groups, and Valuation Review. Infrastructure FP&A within FCG makes sure books and records are correct for Morgan Stanleys support areas, reviews actual cost pools and are responsible for financial planning for the support services of the Firm. As part of the monthly reporting, this group prepares global management reporting packs with analysis and commentary. Non-IT Finance reporting team supports several areas within Support Services including Finance, Legal & Compliance, Risk Management, Admin, HR and Operations. Primary Responsibilities - P/L reporting that will provide a well-rounded experience of what kind of financial information Admin, HR and Company Management clients are looking for - Involvement in monthly and quarterly analysis of P/L results and expense position as compared to plan - Taking ownership of Admin related ad-hoc queries - Client-facing with visibility among Finance senior leadership and Admin, HR, Company management business managers Qualifications Skills Required - Completed Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance or Business related discipline and availability to work full time (8 hours a day) - 1-2 years of experience related to accounting or financial reporting - Solid knowledge of finance or accounting concepts - Strong numeracy and analytical skills - Accuracy, attention to detail, good organization skills - Strong verbal and written communication skills in English - Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office - MS Access or VBA knowledge is an advantage What we offer - Insights to Morgan Stanleys businesses and departments - Gaining experience in expense management, financial reporting & analysis - Professional development, internal and external trainings (opportunity for ACCA and CIMA) - Dynamic environment - Plannable work-life - Great company culture supporting long-term career goals Morgan Stanley is an equal opportunities employer.
