NPI Competitive Cost Engineer

岗位职责：Take part in development teams for new products starting in the early concept phase with responsibility for conduction of the entire target costing process until product launch.  Calculate the best practice cost targets for new catalogue-products and for new customized products planned for production in GPC Jinan during concept phase and development phase.  Cooperate with design engineer, industrial engineer and purchasing to conduct the selection, planning and commissioning of suitable production technologies, as well as assembly and automation concepts for reliable production of semi-finished and finished products for all sources of supply in compliance with committed cost targets.  Drive the cross-functions through the planned and agreed measures according to the agreed specification framework in production and purchasing after product launch, Objective is to achieve target costs within one to three years timeframe after product launch.  Analyze conduction of competitive product and cost breakdowns of relevant products from competition especially in the concept phase of new products.  Provide NPI monitoring report for new product development, including target/planned/actual cost and volume development data. 任职资格：  Bachelor degree or above in engineering, mechanical engineering or similar courses of study with technical background.  5 years'+ or above of relevant practical experience preferably cost engineering and product costing in new-product development.  Preferred technical background: machining, tooling industrial, injection, die-casting. Preferred industrial background: Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Electronic, Medical, Automobile, Automatic.  Fluency in spoken and written English (preferred CET-6), and good technical / engineering knowledge both in Chinese and English.  Good willingness for travelling, approximately 25% time for domestic and abroad travel.
