This role will also be dealing with a variety of different senior managers from Sales to Operations.

Management Accountant Job Description

• Preparation and completion of monthly group management accounts
• An understanding of accounts to TB level
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Monthly intercompany recharges and reconciliation
• Posting of journals
• Understanding of accruals and prepayments
• Margin and variance analysis of monthly management accounts
• Managing the day to day cash flow reporting
• Overseeing the preparation of VAT and Intrastat returns
• As management accountant you will provide support and development to Finance Assistant and Finance Administrator
• Understanding of WIP
• Management and development of financial reports, processes and procedures
• Business partnering with key internal and external stakeholders
• Experience of working within an SME GROUP Environment

Profile

The Successful Applicant

• Finalist stage studier or part qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) although individuals who are qualified by experience will also be considered
• A proven track record of working in a growing business
• Strong communication skills
• Must adopt a hands-on work ethic and have the ability to work within a collaborative, challenging and consultative environment with a multitude of personalities
• Strong systems experience including Excel and SAP is highly desirable
• Proven track record of performance reporting and producing management and statutory financial statements.
• Proactive and self-motivated individual
• Must have ability to multi-task and to manage time effectively at all times
