Finance Manager

My client, an expanding construction and fit-out business based in London is looking to recruit a stand-alone Finance Manager role.

My client is an SME construction business based in London and with key clients across the UK. They have won a number of contracts recently through their established reputation as a leader on category A and B fit-outs. Within this growth they are now looking for a stand-alone Finance Manager to run the accounts function and provide support to the senior management team.

Description

As the London based Finance Manager you will be tasked with owning the end-to-end finance processes including transactional management and more value add management information. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Development of accurate reporting processes with robust controls procedures;

• Ownership of the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting;

• Production of accurate management information packs for review by the Directors with value-add KPI reporting;

• Analysis of contract performance with key focus on cost management;

• Management of the transactional elements including AP and AR;

• Ownership of VAT and corporation tax work;

• Ad hoc analysis and project work as required.

Profile

As a strong applicant for this Finance Manager you will be:

• A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA);

• Possess a strong background in leading month end, quarterly, and annual reporting;

• Have a background in developing management information packs (ideally analysing performance in a contract environment);

• Demonstrate the ability to manage AP/AR and transactional finance;

• Be comfortable with tax computations and liaising with HMRC;

• Show an ability to develop systems and processes.

Job Offer

The offer to the successful Finance Manager will be between £45,000-£55,000 depending on experience plus benefits.
