My client due to growth and expansion require a forward thinking Management Accountant to join their UK finance team.

Description

The main responsibilities of the role:

* Preparation of monthly management accounts

* Oversee bank postings and reconciliations

* Departmental costs & variance analysis

* Balance sheet reconciliations

* Manage fixed assets and posting of depreciation

* Prepare VAT returns

* Calculate and posting of month end journals

* Responsible for year-end accounts

* Oversee both the sales and purchase ledgers

* Liaise with third parties; auditors and bank

* Prepare and coordinate supplier payments

* Create weekly cash forecast

* Staff payments (e.g. payroll & expenses)

* Ad-hoc tasks within the finance team

Profile

Key Skills & Attributes:

* Fully AAT qualified or part qualified

* Experience working within an accounting and finance environment

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Good numeracy Skills

* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

* Microsoft Navision (desirable)
