We have been retained by a growing private equity real estate player who seeks the talents of a driven and career minded Fund Controller for a newly created Head of Fund Finance within the business. With many high profile investments (UK and Pan-European) in their portfolio, the company are a market leading business which has grown aggressively with plenty of deals nearing completion and in the pipeline.

Your primary responsibility will be run (and in next six months grow) a finance team to ensure the efficient operation of a number of their real estate funds that invest across in a broad variety of asset classed in Europe. This will include liaison with the third party administrators in review the production of quarterly financial statements. Overseeing and co‐ordinating the investment valuation process, including a high degree of interaction with the London investment teams. You will also act as a point of reference for investor queries and investor.

One this integral part of this role is locked in, you will become increasingly involved with further aspects of the business. You will be involved in implementing new online performance and risk reporting to investors, oversee currency hedging and negotiating fund level lending facilities, supporting the investment teams as they structure investments from a tax standpoint and also pitch in with corporate finance-related activities. You will be of course be working by the side of a seasoned real estate professional who will support you in your growth and development.

We're looking for a qualified accountant (essential) with previous fund control (finance and operations) expertise in real estate who is looking for the next step up. Ideally, this will have been gained in a real estate / private equity firm. You'll need to have excellent attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop productive working relationships with stakeholders across back, middle and front office. The company is continuously launching new and even more complicated funds with this role best suited to someone who prefers working in a fast-paced, dynamic and entrepreneurial environment. This opportunity is rate and by no means a 9-5 job, extended hours will be involved but must to gain and of course, will be rewarded for all your efforts.

This role is looking to make an immediate hire with exceptional bonus potential on offer in addition to a healthy base salary and above market benefits.
