Financial Controller - 12 month FTC

A broad role assuming responsibility for the financial management of the Client's EMEA business. This will include cash management, forecasting, maintenance of financial records and reporting of financial information.

Description

Key responsibilities will include:

• Financial control and reporting
• Providing commercial support to the business
• Statutory reporting requirements including tax
• Supporting the budgeting and forecasting process
• Day to day management of local accountants and banking relationships
• Responsibility for the local payroll, including the review and sign off of monthly payrolls
• Management of local entity cash balances
• Responsibility for monthly processes including production of management accounts
• Responsibility for the statutory audit
• Working with department heads to develop annual budgets and interim forecasts

Profile

The successful candidate will:

• Be a qualified accountant (ideally ACA or ACCA although CIMA qualified candidates with relevant experience will be considered) with several years of post qualified experience
• Demonstrate a track record of success in a comparable role/s
• Possess a strong, up to date technical accounting skill-set
• Ideally have experience of working within an EMEA function
• Be an effective communicator and possess good commercial skills
• Be available either immediately or within one month
