Reporting into both the Finance Manager and Financial Controller, the Assistant Accountant will assist with the production of management accounts and various cost analysis reports across various divisions within the group.

Client Details

A well established, award winning organisation with multiple companies and divisions forming the UK group. The group head office is based in Liverpool but given continuous growth across the business, several other sites have been established across the country.

Description

The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for:

  • Assist with the production of monthly management accounts
  • Provide financial support to operational management across the business
  • Assist with the budget and forecast process
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Work closely with the sales ledger and purchase ledger teams
  • Assist with year end process and statutory accounts

Profile

  • Actively studying towards CIMA/ACCA
  • Minimum 2.1 degree in Accounts and Finance or AAT qualified
  • Previous experience in a similar Assistant Accountant position
  • Good Excel - pivot tables and vlookup's
