Exciting high growth Building and construction group who are looking for a strong Assistant Accountant to assist the European Financial Controller based in Bedford. This role is offering great exposure across European finance included Multi-currency and FX.

Description

Assistant Accountant duties and responsibilities for which training will be provided;

• European accounting compliance to include VAT and taxation
• European payroll processing and management
• Supplier statement reconciliations
• FX Hedging
• bank reconciliations
• Multicurrency transactions posting and invoice processing

Profile

For this Assistant Accountant role training will provided for the right individual with a strong couple of years in finance ideally with European accounting exposure to include multi currency and FX. Transactional finance processing and posting experience is essential along with Excel capabilities. They are for an individual to work with and train so a driven and mouldable nature would be ideal and someone who is a team player but able to work on their own initiative when required.
