Reward Recruitment are currently Partnered with a leading financial management firm based in Chester. Our client is looking for a Trainee Paraplanner to offer full sponsorship along with paid revision days.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Acknowledging, vetting and processing of new business applications for all products.
  • Fully utilise back-office system to ensure client records are up to date and accurate.
  • Preparing for client meetings producing all required compliance documentation.
  • Preparing client valuations and reports as required.
  • Dealing with general client queries, both verbal and written.
  • Corresponding with investment companies and providers to obtain the necessary information and documentation as required.
  • Maintain excellent working knowledge of providers’ systems and requirements.

Once the individual has made significant progress through the administrative support role, they will move unto supporting a team of paraplanners to develop the skills required to conduct portfolio analysis, product selection report writing and eventually to become a paraplanner. The role will include:

  • Preparing paperwork for client meetings.
  • Product research for investments and pensions.
  • Liaising with product providers and other relevant third parties.
  • Learning to use financial software such as FE Analytics.
