A leading retailer is looking to appoint an ambitious Financial Accountant. The role holder will primarily be responsible for the accounting and reporting of Group results and UK statutory reporting.

Key responsibilities will include preparing the consolidated financial accounts, managing UK financial reporting and global cash management, reviewing monthly management accounts, owning the organisation's intercompany reconciliation matrix, delivering compliance reports to the banks and additional third party advisors, assisting with Group audit, reviewing accounting policies and making continual improvements to financial controls and processes.

The successful candidate will be a recently qualified finance professional (ACA or ACCA) with demonstrable financial management experience from within a corporate environment. Applicants must possess strong technical accounting skills in conjunction with the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively. Strong analytical skills are essential and previous Elite systems experience would be advantageous.
