Support initiatives and ongoing development efforts for ERM (Enterprise Risk Management) to monitor key risk metrics across Operational Risk Investment Risk and Liquidity Risk.

Utilizing strong analytical skills an ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision and experience in the investment management industry will allow understanding of the relationships between technology data operations and business areas when performing analysis.
  • Act as an intermediary between the business users and development teams and effectively communicate objectives initiatives issues and performance to plan.
  • Contextualize impact perform in–depth data analysis document requirements and QA of development work that you're delivering across all ERM initiatives
  • Document epics user stories and acceptance criteria and work in an Agile development framework
  • Assist with analysis and execution of user acceptance integration and performance testing
  • Assist in developing maintaining and tracking the project including reviewing progress and issues with management
  • Provide ongoing support for level three production issues
  • Build formal comprehensive data specification documents that will last throughout the life cycle of the project
Qualifications
  • Proven background in the financial services industry
  • Efficient in–depth data analysis and presentational abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required to liaise with the business developers QA and operations
  • 4–6 years of professional experience in a business analyst role
  • Strong analytic problem solving and reciprocal skills
  • Experience with risk data aggregation and risk reporting
  • Any specific experience with data management best practices data governance data quality controls regional or regulatory reporting requirements is preferable
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work experience
  • CFA / FRM is preferable
  • Mid–level competency in SQL to query raw data QA design and validate/qualify database improvements
  • Interaction with large data set solutions as well as traditional relational structures (Oracle / MSSQL) and conceptualizing architecture and supporting framework is preferable
  • Familiar with BI tools and data visualization for reporting data effectively is preferable
