We have a great opportunity for a Finance Analyst to join the team where you will be responsible for working across Daytime (This Morning, Good Morning Britain, Loose Women and Lorraine (3 days a week) and Shiver, 12 Yard and World labels (2 days a week)).

The key purpose of this role is to assist with the preparation of actuals, forecasts and budgets and support the efficient reporting of Label financial results. We are seeking a part–qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA).

Your main Responsibilities as the Finance Analyst will include:

  • Complete the month end tasks, such as revenue recognition and variance analysis
  • Reconcile the Balance sheet WIP and Creditors to cost reports.
  • Review Business Affairs contracts and raising sales invoices.
  • Liaise with the Divisional Management Accountant in Manchester to ensure overhead and salary reconciliations are complete and accurate.
  • Maintain a close working relationship with HR, Payroll and Production in order to effectively manage large headcount base.
  • Assist with the forecasting and budgeting process.
  • Support Production Accountants with programme clear up accounting.

As the ideal candidate, you will have experience of working in a finance analyst role in a TV environment and have experience working in a production role – desirable but not essential.
You will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with differing levels of seniority across the finance and production management community. You will ideally have experience of working in a busy, deadline–driven environment and be able to plan and manage your own workload whilst also being adaptable to a changing environment.
