SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM) Business analyst will analyze complex business problems to be solved with SAP and similar automated systems. Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements. Assists with system setting configurations and options; plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing; and assists with creation of specifications for systems to meet business requirements. Design, configuration, and functional experience in the MM/PP module.
Key Requirements
  • Analyze Material Management, practices and requirements.
  • Manage projects of small to medium size and scope, including, but not limited to, SAP implementations.
  • Resolve business issues by working with various groups within the site.
  • Utilize reporting functions to provide flexible and timely information to system users.
  • Assist end–users with identifying and resolving technical issues.
  • Improve, support and maintain SAP application as required for the SCM functions.
  • Recommend solutions to improve business practices via existing SAP MM/PP functionality.

Bachelors Degree in Business Administration / IT or SAP Certification with equivalent job experience.


3+ years of SAP experience required with an emphasis on the Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP) and Warehouse Management (WM) modules, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Advanced SAP skills with an emphasis in MM/PP/WM.
  • Good knowledge in current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
  • Ability to drive functional, technical and operational excellence.
  • Ability to inspire and foster innovation, collaboration, transparency and team effectiveness.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Effective written, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Physical Requirements:

Position requires ordinary ambulatory skills and physical coordination sufficient to move about office locations; ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch periodically for prolonged periods of time; manipulation (lift, carry, move) of light to medium weights of 10–35 pound pounds; arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp and type for prolonged periods of time; visual acuity to use a keyboard, computer monitor, operate standard office equipment equipment, and read materials for prolonged periods of time; ability to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear for prolonged periods of time.
