Your new role
As an intern in the Education Compliance Administration team, your role will be to gather compliance documentation including right to work details, references and qualifications, and to ensure that they are recorded accurately on the in–house database system. Working in collaboration with the recruitment consultants, contacting candidates where necessary, you will work to ensure that any missing paperwork is identified, obtained and checked to ensure that it is satisfactory before the candidates are authorised by the audit team and can commence their first assignments. You will also have responsibility for assisting in the processing of child protection/criminal record checks e.g. Children's Barred List checks and DBS, verifying qualifications, and ensuring that all registration files are completed as quickly and accurately as possible.
Ensuring that there is a smooth, fast flow of authorised candidates into the business is an important part of this role and constant liaison with, and support of, the business in order to facilitate this will be essential.
What you'll need to succeed
To be eligible for this position, you'll need to be studying a degree at University with the opportunity to take a 1 year work placement as part of your degree course. To be successful in this position, you'll need to have excellent attention to detail to ensure the highest standards of compliance are adhered to. Also you will need strong interpersonal skills to be able to communicate complex messages effectively to both candidates and consultants.
