This Finance Administrator role based in Bedford will assist in the maximisation of income for the Group. Working closely with the Credit Manager to facilitate accurate and speedy payments and reconcile income

Our client is a leading business with a strong Group set up and numerous revenue streams hence the requirement for an Finance Administrator to manage the cred, debt, sales and income processing to improve tracking of financial performance and liquidity


Finance Administrator Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Maximise the income generation through invoicing and income recovery for the Group.
  • Reconciliation, recovery and reporting of income
  • Reconciliation, recovery and reporting of loan income
  • Resolve issues and maintain accurate records
  • Other finance duties
  • To resolve all credit control and debt collection queries received in the Accounts Receivable e-mailbox in timely manner.
  • Carry out any other duties or projects assigned by the credit and finance manager.

    Finance Administrator Person Specification

  • Experience credit control or accounts receivable experience dealing with income processing and debt management for suppliers and customers
  • Experience of data management and analysis would be beneficial
  • Resolving customer queries within a complex environment
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Excellent administrative skills
  • Experience of applying complex rules to data and implementing actions where amendments are required
  • Experience of preparing reports and reconciliations to monthly timetables
  • Current experience of credit control and managing the ageing of debts
  • Experience of using external agencies to ensure debts are collectable and valid
  • Experience of debt collection through agencies and courts
  • Experience of preparing year end working papers
  • Experience of preparing management reports
  • Experience of identifying and delivering finance training
  • Knowledge of bad debt reserves and experience of proposing bad debt is desirable but non essential
