Financial Planning & Analysis Accountant

We currently have an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Financial Planning & Analysis Accountant based in Warrington. Reporting to the Head of UK Finance – Operations, this role is a key position within the UK Finance team where you will have responsibility for the production and improvement of monthly reporting and budgets packs for UK Management, supporting the implementation of UK ERP system and reporting tools and supporting the continual improvement of systems, processes and reporting. We would invite applications from Qualified Accountants, CIMA, ACA or ACCA with 2–3 years post–qualified experience and a strong background in both financial accounting and management reporting. A fast paced, can do attitude is important as well as an ability to work with operational and support staff at all levels.

About the Role:
• Production and improvement of monthly reporting packs (Board and Local reporting)
• Supporting Monthly forecasting / Long Range Planning / Annual budgeting
• Working as part of the ERP implementation team to develop UK reporting suite
• Supporting the implementation of dashboard reporting working with BI developer
• Assisting Finance Managers in the analysis of monthly results including; detailed sales and margin analysis, identifying trends, potential risks and opportunities
• Ad–hoc reporting requests to support UK improvement projects

About You:
• Qualified Accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA)
• Good experience in both financial accounting and management reporting
• 2 years' post qualified experience.
• Experience of working with reporting tools (e.g. Qlikview/Business Objects)
• Strong team player
